Time Alpe D’Huez Frame / Fork Kit 01 Disc White Racing Red

The Time Alpe d’Huez 01 is the lightest model that TIME has ever developed: -8.6% less than its predecessor, the Izon. To achieve this lightness, a completely new optimized structure has been developed. The finishing fabric has been removed from the tubes: diagonal, upper and on the seat tube. The carbon braid, developed according to the desired mechanical characteristics, and carefully positioned on the frame, remains visible on these parts. The seat post is also new, thinner and lighter.

To achieve these characteristics, we have worked on the lightness of the Alpe d’Huez bike, while improving the stiffness characteristics. This gives more than 25% on the stiffness / weight ratio , compared to its predecessor, the Izon. When you ride this bike then you feel nervousness, responsiveness and power when pedaling. To achieve these characteristics, we have worked on increasing the number of high modulus fibers, a stiffer BB386 bottom bracket, increased and optimized tube sections, and directlink technology which allows better energy transfer. The sloping geometry of the frame has been adapted for mountain landscapes with vertical drop.
The Alpe d’Huez is the ideal bike for this type of terrain: precise on descents and responsive on climbs.
