The Ventral Air is a structurally optimized helmet featuring precise ventilation holes and internal channels to regulate the entry and exit of air at high and low speeds. The result ? The one-of-a-kind design of the Ventral Air, influenced by the award-winning Octal and Ventral models, improves the aerodynamic profile of the helmet and rider, managing the wind to reduce friction. The Ventral Air has been designed with an optimized profile and specific air circulation zones, which has the effect of increasing airflow and enhancing ventilation and cooling. The circulation of residual air above and around the helmet is managed by an aerodynamically optimized trailing edge, which reduces turbulence and improves the aerodynamic profile of the helmet and the rider.
True to our mission, POC helmets are all developed putting our full face helmet concept at the center of our design process, using optimized materials throughout the helmet. While the Ventral Air SPIN is extremely light, it has a fully wrapped unibody shell for added safety, as well as an optimized EPS liner to achieve the perfect balance between weight and safety. Our SPIN (Shearing Pad Inside) system is a patent pending silicone padding technology that uses innovative materials and design to complement the POC full face helmet. The lightweight adjustment system and precision ergonomic webbing allow for an exceptional and flexible fit. The helmet also has a new and very practical housing called Eye Garage to store the glasses.
