The new rim profile that characterizes the Speed 55 DB is a further advance in the search for the best aerodynamic performance, namely a model intended for a demanding public and for competition. To improve the rolling resistance (and therefore the speed) of the wheel / tire system, we have designed this model in a 2-WAY FIT version .

The construction method of the carbon fiber rim free of holes in the internal channel, a patented construction technology, also ensures a stronger and more robust structure able to withstand the most extreme racing conditions. The 19mm rim width fits perfectly with the trend to use increasingly wider tires, a choice that further improves the aerodynamic efficiency of the wheel / tire system. These data have been validated by intensive studies and tests in a wind tunnel where we regularly carry out tests on new projects. Speed turned out to be the best option in terms of aerodynamic penetration indices of the Fulcrum range and uses the indications of the profiles developed in the tubular version for World Tour teams.

But the Speed is not limited to meeting aerodynamic efficiency requirements, to optimize performance the wheels must also be light and smooth, the scale stops at 1580g while for the bearings we have chosen ceramic USB components. .
